Dan Hosseinzadeh
CEO and Co-founder
As Pathcore’s CEO, Dan is leading the company with a vision to connect the digital pathology ecosystem. Dan’s career has focused on developing and commercializing digital pathology software products. He led development of the Sedeen Viewer two decades ago, a research tool which is still widely used around the globe today, and has been a principal investigator for several Canadian and American pathology research programs. Previously, Dan was Co-Chair of DICOM’s pathology working (WG-26), where he contributed to WSI standardization efforts and a series of interoperability connectathons.
Dr. Anne Martel
CSO and Co-founder
Dr. Martel is the co-founder and CSO of Pathcore, and currently holds positions as a Professor in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, and a Senior Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute. Her pioneering work in Medical Image Analysis, particularly using machine learning for MRI and digital pathology, has significantly advanced medical imaging. A prominent figure in the medical image analysis community, Dr. Martel is a fellow of the MICCAI Society, has served on its board, and contributes as a senior editorial board member for the journal Medical Image Analysis. Kamyar Abhari
Director of Engineering
Kamyar Abhari is our Director of Engineering. He leads and empowers our highly skilled engineering team, driving Pathcore's product development and support services to the forefront of the digital pathology industry. Holding a PhD in Medical Imaging, Kamyar boasts extensive experience in engineering and software development across the healthcare sector. With a proven track record of scaling businesses, crafting impactful engineering strategies, and launching successful products - from AI applications to SaaS solutions - his visionary leadership and deep industry knowledge ensure that Pathcore continues to innovate and exceed expectations in delivering advanced digital pathology solutions.
Stephane Langevin
VP of Commercial Operations
Stephane is the Vice President of Business Operations, overseeing all global commercial and business development activities. With over 30 years of senior commercial leadership experience, Stephane brings a wealth of international experience, leading regional and national operations across APAC, North America, and Europe. He has a proven track record of developing and growing multi-million-dollar businesses through employee engagement, talent development, strategic planning, and effective P&L management. He prioritizes customer experience, enhancing Pathcore's commercial operations to improve customer journey touchpoints and ensure superior service delivery and satisfaction.

Pathcore has transitioned to a fully remote work culture, with staff across Canada (coast-to-coast). Our headquarters are still located in downtown Toronto, a few short steps to Union Station.
