DICOM WG-26 continued to push the boundaries of interoperability at DICOM Digital Pathology Connectathons throughout 2019. Similar to 2018’s successful Connectathons, these events showcased the use of the DICOM Standard to achieve interoperability of Whole Slide Imaging between different vendor’s equipment and software. On October 2-3, 2017, at Pathology Visions, Pathcore along with Roche, Philips, Leica and AidPath will demonstrate the use of DICOM standard for acquiring, archival and retrieval of whole slide images.
